Use cases

Four events.One delivery moment.

A wedding, a conference, a graduation and a portrait sitting look nothing alike until the photographs are ready. Then they become the same problem: a set of people at maximum attention, and a handover that traditionally throws that attention away. What changes between them is who is in the room and what happens next.

The Delivery MomentThe 48 hours after an event when guest attention peaks. The scarcest asset in a photography business, and the one the category throws away.
Second-Order BookingsBookings traceable to a previous event’s guests. The compounding return on treating delivery as growth.
Weddings

The reception is the largest room of prospects you will stand in all year.

Two hundred people who love the couple, are dressed for photographs, are emotionally primed, and are watching you work all night. A good share of them will hire a photographer within two years. Most of them leave without ever learning your name.

Guests scan a code on the table and land on your event page — your studio in the URL, your name on the screen. One selfie later they have the frames they are actually in, while the dancing is still going and their phone is still in their hand.

The wedding you shoot in November is where next March’s engagement shoot comes from — but only if the guest can still name who shot it. Handing photos over as an unbranded folder link is how that memory gets deleted.

Live today

What you run on the night

  • Live today: Tethered capture from the ceremony onward, so frames land while the reception is still running.
  • Live today: The studio wall on the venue screen through dinner, showing the event’s gallery.
  • Live today: A QR code on the tables — one selfie returns a guest their own photos.
  • Live today: A selection round with the couple two weeks later, capped to the album count.
Corporate events

Everyone in that hall has an event of their own to organise next year.

Conferences, offsites, awards nights, product launches. The photographs are usually delivered as a drive link to one coordinator, where they are seen by four people and then buried under a quarter of other files.

Attendees scan the code on the badge or the screen behind the stage and pull their own frames out of a five-thousand-file event. Nobody scrolls a shared folder, and nobody has to email you asking for “the one from the panel”.

The delegate who liked their headshot is next year’s organiser at a different company. That is the compounding path in corporate work, and it starts with them knowing whose photographs those were.

There is no SSO integration and no per-event analytics dashboard. If procurement asks for either, the honest answer today is no.

Live today

What you run

  • Live today: One event, with folders per day, per track or per session.
  • Live today: QR access for attendees; each person sees only the frames they appear in.
  • Live today: A selection round with the marketing team, capped to the number the contract covers.
  • Live today: The studio wall in the foyer while the event is still on.
School events

Graduations and annual days, where the parent wants exactly one child’s photos.

A school event is a thousand frames of which any one family cares about eleven. The traditional answer is a shared drive and an evening of parents scrolling; the honest version of the modern answer needs a sentence about how the matching works.

Whoever’s face is scanned is the face that is matched — so a parent photographs their child’s face to get their child’s frames, and gets their own back if they scan themselves. It is worth saying plainly at the gate, because it is the part everyone assumes rather than asks.

The families at a graduation are the portrait sessions, the birthdays and the weddings of the next five years. Being the studio they can name is the entire opportunity.

There is no parental-consent management tooling. If a school needs a documented consent process, that process still lives with the school and with you.

Live today

What you run

  • Live today: The event stays unpublished until you are ready for families to see anything.
  • Live today: Folders per class, per performance or per segment.
  • Live today: A QR code handed to families, working on the phone they already carry.
  • Live today: Face embedding computed on our servers — say so up front, because a school will ask.
Studio portraits

For portraits, the selection round is the delivery moment.

Headshots, family portraits, maternity, product. There is no crowd to convert here — there is one client, a set of proofs, and a decision they keep putting off because you handed them four hundred near-identical frames in a zip.

They open a link on their phone, move through folders instead of one endless grid, mark picks against the number their package actually includes, and leave a note on the individual frame rather than in a message three days later.

Repeat work and referral is the whole business in portrait studios. A selection round that felt considered is what gets you recommended at the next dinner table — and it costs you nothing but not sending a zip file.

Live today

What you run

  • Live today: Upload the culled shoot into an event.
  • Live today: Folders per look, per setup or per family member.
  • Live today: Invite the client by phone number and cap the picks to the package.
  • Live today: Review the selected set on its own before it goes to the edit.

Every second-order booking above is an opportunity, not a number we can show you.

Studioshare cannot currently tell you how many guests opened your gallery, how many reshared it, or which booking came from which event. That measurement is the layer we are building and it is not in the product today — so nothing on this page is offered as a proven return.

Guest Graph consent capture

A separate, explicit, easy-to-decline opt-in that lets a guest hear from you later — kept legally distinct from the consent that powers "find my photos".

Guest-to-Lead dashboard

Your G2L rate per event: how many guests arrived, how many opted in, how many became real enquiries.
